​As a little girl, Kristie remembers fondly applying makeup, wearing her mothers much too big high heels and pretending to be the queen. Now, standing here 28 years later, she is hoping to make that dream a reality. However, Kristie knows that being Mrs. Idaho United States is not just a game of dress up, but a commitment to her State and platform with the American Cancer Society. Kristie and her husband Josh are Proud Idahoans that have been happily married for 5 years and have 3 wild & wonderful children. Kristie and Josh believe in family first and the title of Mrs. Idaho United States will not only be a wonderful experience for her,
but them as well. ​
When Kristie isn't chasing children she is promoting the pageant so that she can make sure many more women have the same chance to better themselves, step out of their comfort zones and make a difference in this great state of Idaho.​
